I detected what may be the wreck of a commercial vessel, possibly a barge, in deep water near the Snadauns. There is anecdotal evidence of a mining barge going missing on the Corrib, but to date I can find no written word on it. The Sidescan imagery is inconclusive and I've not been able to relocate the wreck. It is however in an area where the bottom is highly complicated, so may simply be obscured by local geography.
